Room Information : Our rooms are stylishly furnished with warm colours and are very cosy. All rooms were renovated in 2006 and offer brand new bathrooms with heated floors and towel bars as well as exceptionally comfortable beds.
Region Information : Known for its year-round sports activities, Kaprun is located in the heart of the Europa Sports Region in Salzburg, at 786 metres above sea level. The winter season from the end of October to mid-April is especially snow-sure because of the high Kitzsteinhorn. This glacier (3,203 metres) also provides for sensational summer skiing.
The impressive Alpine scenery is ideal for beautiful hikes throughout the year. Not far away you can find the Hohe Tauern National Park, at 3,798 metres Austria’s highest mountain. The Europa Sport Region of Kaprun and nearby Zell am See offers a wide range of activities. All kinds of water sports are available on Lake Zell. Enthusiastic cyclists and mountin bikers can enjoy a large number of bike trails.
Daily guided hikes with the owner are available on request.
Short description : Haus Tirol is a newly renovated and cosy bed and breakfast in a central location, only 450 metres from the village square of Kaprun.
The bank and the post office, as well as restaurants, bars, discos and fashion stores can be easily reached on foot. Both the free ski bus and the regular bus service stop directly next to the house. All hiking trails and mountain bike/bicycle paths start just around the corner. Ski slopes for beginners and children, as well as ski lifts are in the immediate vicinity.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 31 days before date of arrival, 40 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 70 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 90 percent of all nights will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All children from 4 to 7 years are charged 70 % of the room stay per night for extra beds.
All children from 8 to 12 years are charged 90 % of the room stay per night for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: 25 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.
A fixed amount of EUR 50 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.

Internet: Wired internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.
Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.
