Travel Information : After the payment station of the highway of Trieste (the highway A4 that
takes to Trieste ends exactly at the payment station of Lisert-Duino), go ahead on this highway (not payed anymore) until this highway's end (around 36 km) and turn the second on the left.
From there it connects to another piece of highway (also not-payed), from where you'll get out to the first exit (exit Grandi Motori). When arrived to the stop of the exit turn on the right and go ahead on the main road (attention: some works are in progress for the construction of the new highway). After 1 km from the exit above mentioned you will find the hotel on the right hand side (it is visible through the bright sign Hotel Sonia).
By bus:
When arrived to the F.S. station in the downtown of Trieste it is easy to reach the structure. The hotel is connected with a fixed system of bus passing each quarter of hour which come from the F.S. station
to the hotel (buses number: 21, 23, 40, 41 and 20).
Short description : The Hotel and Restaurant Sonia is situated in a strategic location, at the entrance of the Natural Park of Val Rosandra, close to the border with Slovenia and to downtown (around 5 km), where the guests can arrive easily (in only 10 minutes) also by public transport.
The Albergo Ristorante Sonia provides an own parking, an outstanding restaurant service and a familiar atmosphere.
Region Information : The hotel is located between the centre of Trieste and the industrial zone, near the border with Slovenia and a few minutes from the Val Rosandra natural park (an ideal place for those who love excursions immersed in nature).
About 30 km from here you can arrive also in Croatia, where it is possible to admire a beautiful coast with views still uncontaminated.
Food & Beverages : The restaurant offers 3 rooms, respectively for 80, 100 and 50 people. Opening time: from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 19:00 to 21:00.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
