Short description : The Hotel Porto Santa Maria is located right by the ocean, where the most important naval station of the island once stood, in the heart of the historical centre of Funchal and close to the street that gave it its name, one of the oldest streets in the city. Hotel Information : The architectural concept and decorative style of the Hotel Porto Santa Maria aim to evoke the same atmosphere as the seafront hotels of the Riviera, where the influence of the sea and the cruise liners stopping at the port can be clearly felt.
Room Information : The hotel has 146 Studios and Junior Suites.All have private balcony, sea view and full air conditioning. All rooms have two beds, fully equipped bathroom, 2 tele-phones, cable TV (Internet connection available as an extra), kitchenette and safety deposit box (extra).
Travel Information : When leaving the airport you take the freeway in the "Funchal" direction. You continue in the freeway until you reach the Exit " Funchal/ Campo da Barca" which you take. You continue straight down and when you reach the roundabout by the sea you turn left. You take the lane on the right and follow the road. After you pass the cable car on your right, your turn right. Go straight ahead and you will reach the entrance of the hotel.
