Hotel Information : Hotel David is located in Villa Drina, an elegant building dating from the late nineteenth-century and was once the summer residence of a distinguished family from Tuscany. Subsequently, the villa was renovated and equipped with all modern comforts, transforming it into a real reference point for anyone who, for business or pleasure, comes to Florence. Over the years, Hotel David has become a second home for many of our dearest clients who are happy to come back to the same warm atmosphere in an elegant and refined setting, with all modern comforts and completely sound-proof rooms.
Room Information : Our 25 rooms have all been equipped one by one with careful attention to detail. The result is a comfortable and homely setting, cared for as if you are visiting someone's house, where you can immediately sense the warmth of typical Florentine hospitality.

Region Information : Surrounded by greenery, Hotel David is located in Oltrarno, an extremely picturesque area of Florence right under Piazzale Michelangelo, and from which one can admire beautiful city views. A truly excellent location as it is just a few minutes from the historic center and from the most beautiful artistic and cultural sites, such as the renowned Ponte Vecchio and the spectacular Piazza della Signoria. To help you find your way around Florence, we have prepared a small itinerary for you.
Travel Information : By car
From the North or South, take the Florence Certosa exit and then follow the directions fro the Center and for Viale Michelangelo. Having driven for circa 2 kilometers, you will see a yellow sign with directions to Piazzale Michelangelo. When you arrive to Piazzale Michelangelo, you will see a splendid terrace from which you can enjoy views of the city. Continue along the road with trees until you arrive to Piazza Ferrucci. Hotel David is on your right, at number 1 on Via Michelangelo.
By train
From Santa Maria Novella station, you can take a taxi (about 10 minutes) or bus 23, 13 or D for Piazza Ferrucci. The bus stop is found at the side entrance to the station, at the end of the steps.
By plane
From Florence "Galileo Galilei" airport, you can take a taxi (about 30 minutes) or the shuttle bus which leaves every 30 minutes and brings you directly in front of Santa Maria Novella Station. From here, take bus 23, 13 or D for Piazza Ferrucci. The bus stop is found at the side entrance to the station , at the end of the steps.
