Travel Information : - Driving directions from the port of Heraklion to Galaxy Heraklion Hotel:
Cross the traffic lights at the port exit and follow "Ethnikis Antistaseos" Ave.
When you reach the third traffic lights turn to the right to "Itanou Str.".
After 100 m you will meet the traffic lights of Dimocratias Ave.
Turn on the left, drive for about 300 m and you will see Galaxy Hotel on the left

Take the highway to Heraklion until the first traffic lights. Turn to the right and then left at the next traffic lights (direction of Heraklion city center).
Keep straight for about 1 km and you will see Galaxy Iraklio on your right (75 Dimocratias Avenue).
Food & Beverages : Indulge in all-day dining at the Galaxy Iraklio. The Apollo (indoor) restaurant and Pergola (outdoor) restaurant are open every day from early in the morning (07:00) continuously until late at night (22:00).

- Historical Museum of Heraklion
Exhibits of early Christian, Byzantine, Medieval and recent Cretan history are presented in a very interesting way in this neoclassical building. The highlights among others are El Greco's Holy Mount Sinai painting, the city-model of Iraklion showing the 17th century character and personal objects of the world famous Cretan writer Nikos Kazantzakis.
