Hotel Information : Our single standard bedrooms (with shared bathrooms), single ensuites in Holland House and our double ensuites in Masson House are all 2 star campus accommodation. Our twin ensuites in Chancellors Court are 3 star campus accommodation. All of our rates include a full scottish breakfast or continental breakfast the choice is yours at our self service restaurant.
Room Information : The bedrooms within all our properties have tea / coffee making facilities, towels and toiletries (for your first night) as standard. Bedrooms within Masson House and Chancellors Court also have a television in them.
All our bedrooms are non smoking rooms.
Food & Beverages : Breakfast is served between 07.30 and 10.00 daily within our self service restaurant in the John McIntyre Conference Centre. This building is situated in the centre of the campus at most a 5 minute walk from each bedroom.

From St. Andrews Bus Station, take a taxi to Pollock Halls, cost approx. £5, a 5-10 minute journey, or proceed to Princes Street, on the shop side heading East, take a bus (£1.20, exact change only) to the Royal Commonwealth Pool, Dalkeith Road (numbers: 2, 14, 30, 33, 86). From here, Pollock Halls is a short walk down Holyrood Park Road.
By Air
From Edinburgh Airport, for 2 or more passengers, we recommend a taxi for the 8 mile journey to Pollock Halls (cost approx. £17-20). Or take the Airport Shuttle Bus (Adult: £5 open return, £3 single) to the city terminal on Waverley Bridge. From here take a taxi, cost approx. £5, a 5-10 minute journey, or proceed to North Bridge and from the Carlton Hotel bus stop, take a bus (£1.20, exact change only) to the Royal Commonwealth Pool, Dalkeith Road (numbers: 2, 14, 30, 33, 86). From here, Pollock Halls is a short walk down Holyrood Park Road.
By Rail

By Road
From the A720 City of Edinburgh Bypass, take A7 Old Dalkeith Road exit at the Sheriffhall Roundabout towards the City Centre. Continue straight for approximately 3 miles. Just past the Royal Commonwealth Pool, turn right onto Holyrood Park Road. Pollock Halls is the second turning on the right.

Please note that car parking cannot be guaranteed on this site; it is operated on a first come, first served basis. We will endeavour to find you a space or will direct you to the nearest NCP Car Park.
Short description : There can be few B&Bs located on the edge of a royal park, in the shadow of an ancient volcano and close to the parliament building of a major European capital. There can be even fewer B&Bs that offer all of this and close proximity to the sights and sounds of the city centre. Edinburgh First's Bed & Breakfast accommodation at Pollock Halls on Holyrood Park.
Our campus is home to a number of different room types, including standard rooms (shared bathrooms), single, double and twin en-suites. All our rooms are 2* campus accommodation except for Chancellors Court Twin en-suites which are 3* campus accommodation.
All our rooms are non smoking.
Important Information : Our reception centre is open 24 hours. Reception staff cover from 7am - 11pm. Should you arrive later than 11pm our security staff are available to help you check in. Bookings should be paid for on arrival at check-in.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
