Hotel Information : -The San Remo provides daily parking at competitive rates within two blocks of the hotel. If you are driving, pull into the White Zone to check into the hotel and they will furnish you directions to the garages. You can sometimes find two-hour street parking around the hotel, but be sure to read posted signs about the days and times when parking is permitted. Whenever possible, this hotel encourages their guests to leave cars in one of the garages and begin touring this walker-friendly city with a stroll through North Beach and Fisherman's Wharf.

Room Information : Our guests enjoy the Victorian charm and comfort of sixty-two uniquely decorated cozy rooms. Brass, iron, oak, maple, pine or wicker furniture and pedestal sinks recall turn-of-the-century San Francisco. Each room is separate and private.
All rooms share bath facilities reminiscent of Old West inns and European pensiones. Bath and showers are found in four convenient locations just down the hall from the bedrooms.

FROM THE SOUTH (including San Francisco International Airport-SFO)-On Highway 101 North, follow the signs toward the Bay Bridge. Exit on Fourth Street, which is the last exit before the Bay Bridge. At the end of the exit ramp, go directly across the intersection; you'll be on Bryant Street. Stay to the right. Follow Bryant Street down to the Embarcadero (which runs along the waterfront). Turn left on Embarcadero; follow it to Pier 33. Get into one of the two left turn lanes and turn left onto Bay Street. Follow Bay Street to Mason Street and turn left onto Mason Street. The San Remo Hotel is one block south on the right at 2237 Mason Street.
FROM THE EAST (including Oakland Airport, Yosemite)-Take Interstate 80 West onto the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge. As you approach the end of the bridge, get into the far right lane. Exit on Fremont Street. At the end of the exit ramp, take a right onto Folsom Street. Turn left onto Embarcadero; follow it to Pier 33. Get into one of the two left turn lanes and turn left onto Bay Street. Follow Bay Street to Mason Street and turn left onto Mason Street. The San Remo Hotel is one block south on the right at 2237 Mason Street.
FROM THE NORTH (including Napa Valley)-Follow Highway 101 South onto the Golden Gate Bridge. After the toll plaza, stay to the left. Follow the signs labeled Marina Boulevard. Stay on Marina Blvd. and watch for Safeway (supermarket). Turn right onto the next street, Laguna, and then turn left onto Bay Street. Continue heading east 11 blocks and turn right onto Mason Street. The San Remo Hotel is one block south on the right at 2237 Mason Street.
Public Transportation:
San Francisco has an extensive public transit system, another popular option for exploring the city. The closest bus lines, within two blocks of the hotel, are numbers 15, 30, 45 or 39. The Mason Street Cable Car line is less than a block away, and the F-Market above ground tram is three blocks from the hotel.
Shuttle Services:
From San Francisco Airport (SFO), it is best recommended the Lorries Shuttle. It costs USD 14 from the airport. Look for Lorries Shuttle (red van) one level up from Baggage Claim. Shuttles run regularly from SFO and they don't accept reservations. See the front desk during your stay to book your return shuttle.
From Oakland Airport (OAK), it is best recommended to take public transportation. Look for the complimentary shuttle to the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) Station. Take BART to San Francisco's Montgomery Street Station. Upstairs from the Station look for bus numbers 15 or 30 on Kearny Street.

Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39 beckon to the north, only a few intersections away. The Transamerica Pyramid, the city’s tallest building, and other financial district skyscrapers are framed in the distance.
