Buckley's Bar menu offers a casual, but wholesome meal, or you can experience hospitality, Norrie Buckley style. Her home cooking is well known among guests and locals, with her rice pudding and her chicken paté being particular favourites.
Norrie's cooking blends traditional Irish and international recipes, made with the freshest of local, seasonal produce. If you have any special dietary needs, or indeed any special dishes you would like to try, don't hesitate to ask.
In the dining room and restaurant you will find the blending of traditional Irish and international recipes using the best local ingredients. Norrie and her team have received an AA rosette each year for the last 8 years.
Travel Information : By Car:
- The Arbutus is located on College Street at the junction of Lewis Road, just off Main Street, a 5 minute stroll from the train and bus station and only a mile from the Killarney National Park.
Parking facilities are not available at the hotel. However, there is a Pay-to-Park area nearby.

Room Information : Each room, whether standard or deluxe, has its own distinctive décor. Some rooms are finished in the original Celtic Deco style commissioned by Tim Buckley in the 1920s.
Hotel Information : Internet is only available in the reception. Guest have to bring their own laptop. The hotel does not have computers for guests.
Region Information : Swimming with Fungi the dolphin, visiting Bill Clinton's favourite golf course and walking amongst ancient oaks - Kerry has it all. Old coach roads, mountain paths, beaches and hundreds of kilometres of way marked walks, making Kerry a walker's paradise.
