Region Information : The superb location in the very heart of Madrid means that all of the city’s attractions are within easy walking distance and you can explore and enjoy all of this magnificent city on foot.
Puerta del Sol itself is one of the busiest and most well known places in Madrid. The square contains the famous clock whose bells mark the traditional eating of the Twelve Grapes and the beginning of a new year.

Travel Information : Your trip from the Airport to Plaza Puerta del Sol, is about 20 minutes and around 18€ by taxi, or 45 minutes and a cost of 1€ by Metro. Taxi and metro stops are located right on the square. Our Building is next to Alcala Street nº 1.
Important Information : Please note the Puerta del Sol square is currently under renovation works. The rooms with views may be affected by the noise from the renovation. The hostel will be pleased to help you find an accommodation in similar conditions if the circumstances require it.
Women are very welcome to stay at the hostel.
