Short description : The Hotel Central was completely remodelled and renovated in 1995, the lobby was enlarged, the bistro and junior suites were build new. The garage is locked and video-surveyed. A 3 minutes walk through a park takes you to the main railroad-station. Within a 5 minutes drive you are at the highway. The centre and main road for shopping is a 10 minutes walk and the sightseeing parts like the castle, the old university, the old bridge etc. are a 20 minutes walk away.
Food & Beverages : In the Bistro Central we offer drinks and light meals. Out of the times of operation of the Bistro you will get drinks at the reception desk.
Travel Information : The hotel is centrally located. Only a 4 minutes walk away from the main railroad station. 10 minutes distance to the old part of town and congress hall.
From Direction Frankfurt: Highway A5, exit Heidelberg, Right lane - Hotelroute B.
Pass the mainstation, the hotel is located 200 m. on the right.
From direction Karlsruhe: A5 exit Heidelberg/Schwetzingen, direction centre (ca. 2 km) over the Montpellierbridge, 2nd. traffic light left into Kaiserstrasse.
By train: Hauptbahnhof (main trainstation) main exit, 150 m direction centre (Innenstadt), right into Kaiserstrasse.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 12.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 12.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
