From Bansko railway / bus stations (800 metres):
- Exit either station and head right towards the river.
- When you reach the road running parallel to it (Glanze), turn left and continue.
- Turn right at the 1st bridge and cross it.
- Bear left onto 'Rila', and look for the hotel on your right.
By air:
From Sofia Airport (95 km):

Region Information : The small town of Bansko is situated 925 metres above sea level, at the north-eastern foot of the Pirin mountain. A popular mountain ski resort, the town still manages to retain its architectural and historical value.
As well as the obvious skiing opportunities, there are other nearby attractions that are worth a visit:
Velyanov House (700 metres) - built in the early 19th century for Velyan Ognev (master builder and painter), the house contains many original woodcarvings, murals and is a superb example of Revival Period architecture.
The Church of the Holy Trinity (700 metres) - built in 1835, this church contains a number of intricate and beautiful artistic features. Its belfry now dominates the town skyline.
Banya (5 km) - the nearby village is famous for its remarkable 27 thermal mineral springs.
