Room Information : All properties have comfortable beds with linen and towels provided. Some of our properties are studio apartments in which living and sleeping areas are combined. All of our apartments have private bathrooms with a powerful shower.
Our fully fitted kitchens include utensils, a toaster, a stove and a microwave. Most of our properties have a separate lounge area, while some studios have living and sleeping areas combined. Futon beds are available to accommodate extra guests in many apartments.
Many apartments have complimentary Wi-Fi access while the internet, a telephone, a fax and a safe are all available at our central office. These services may incur additional charges.
Region Information : Apartments are located all across Edinburgh, from the famous Royal Mile and Grassmarket area, to Edinburgh New Town.

Travel Information : By Car:
From Edinburgh Airport to Queen Street Head Office:
- Exit Edinburgh Airport onto East Field Road – follow signs for the city centre/Edinburgh Zoo.
- Go through Eastfield Road and turn left onto the A8.
- Enter Edinburgh on Glasgow Road (A8). Go through the Drumbrae roundabout and onto Saint John's Road (A8). This will become Corstorphine Road (A8).
- Turn right on Roseburn Terrace (A8). Carry onto West Coates, which becomes Haymarket Terrace (A8).
- Turn left into Haymarket (A8) and carry on West Maitland Street. This becomes Shandwick Place (A8), which becomes Princes Street.
- Turn left onto South Charlotte Street (A90) which becomes Charlotte Square and then North Charlotte Street.
- Turn right onto Albyn Place, and turn left into Queen Street. We are at number 6 Queen Street (opposite end) on the right-hand side, next to the Jam House.
By Bus:
From Edinburgh Airport:
The Airlink Bus number 100 costs about 5 GBP (return) (2007). The airport bus departs every 15 minutes. Guests must disembark at the Waverly Bridge terminus (opposite Waverly Station). The reception and key collection is approximately a 7 -10 minute walk from there.
By Taxi:
A taxi will cost approximately 20 GBP from the airport (2007).

Scottish Apartments do not offer parking. Guests can park at one of the nearby NCP car parks, which offer a security parking place during your stay.
All apartments are strictly non-smoking, and there can be some noise in apartments located in the city centre.
Please note that some of the apartments are located in historical buildings and that there is no lift. Guests who have mobility problems are kindly asked to inform Scottish Apartments of this when booking.

Enjoy the freedom and flexibility of your own apartment for the same price as a hotel room.
Your apartment will be allocated on arrival and can be any of our apartments across Edinburgh. We have apartments around the world-famous Royal Mile, including the Grassmarket area. We also have apartments in the Edinburgh New Town as well as in the ongoing New Western Harbour Development (about 4 km from city centre).
