Short description : The Boutique Hotel Uyan, a 1928 - 32 period’s historic landmark at the heart of the world-famous Sultanahmet open-air museum, has been restored to its former splendour with it’s original, white painted, wooden doors and wrought iron balconies.
The hotel is just 50 metres from world-famous St.Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque, 100 metres from breathtaking Topkapi Palace and the Marmara Sea.
Room Information : All the standard and deluxe guest rooms are located on both sides of the hotel which means that on one side. Look out to the “rewarded“ cleanest street in Sultanahmet and room on the other side overlooks the famous green plant coated Green - House wall. Since the street is closed to the heavy traffic, no noise comes inside which makes Uyan’s every room quiet & peaceful. Region Information : Sultan Ahmed Mosque (100 metres) - built between 1609 and 1616 by order of the Sultan Ahmed I, after whom it is named. It is commonly known as 'The Blue Mosque' due to its striking interior blue tiles.
Hagia Sophia (50 metres) - constructed between AD 532 and 537, this superb survivor of Byzantine architecture is often considered one of the greatest and most beautiful buildings in existence. It is now home to the Ayasofya Museum.
Basilica Cistern (70 metres) - the largest of several hundred ancient cisterns that still lie beneath the city of Istanbul, capable of holding up to 80000 m³ of water.
