The history of Istanbul is the inspiration for this unique hotel. Built on top of a Roman Cistern, you will experience 4 different civilizations - the Roman, the Byzantium, the Ottoman and the Istanbul - as each floor of the hotel is designed to represent these different periods of Istanbul's past.
The 1,500 year old archaeological ruins of the cistern are exhibited in the lobby, where you will be welcomed by the friendly staff, who are available 24-hours a day to help you with any query that you may have.

The restaurant serves Turkish, Ottoman and international cuisine on the terrace, with a unique view of Istanbul and the Marmara Sea. You can watch seagulls while tasting the chef's specialities. The restaurant is also suitable for business meetings with special meals (banqueting).
