Important Information : One child up to 14 years old can share a double room with 2 adults or a single room with one adult free of charge. For those wishing to add a 2nd and 3rd child, please check the availability of family rooms. The children's discounts are determined to accreditation of age upon arrival (Identity document is required e.g. passport).
Short description : The complex is located 2 km from the centre of Puerto de la Cruz and is surrounded by 3 and a half acres of tropical gardens offering views of mount Teide and the Orotava valley.
There is a buffet restaurant with show-cooking, an outdoor swimming pool, day and evening entertainment programmes, mini-club delfin for kids, internet service (extra), shop, gym, naturist area and a health and beauty centre Spa Acquaplaya (extra).
Child Policy :
Hotel Information : Outdoor themed pool with water slide and whirlpool and area for sunbathing. There is also a tennis court, and a slot machines area.
15.000m² of tropical gardens where you can find the musical garden, where each day you can enjoy the music of different composers while walking amongst the vegetation or sitting in a corner enjoying the music, reading or simply relaxing.
Hotel Spa Playacanaria also offers free shuttle bus to the centre of Puerto de la Cruz (except on Saturday pm and Sundays).

Room Information : All the rooms have a balcony or terrace, en suite bathroom with hair dryer , satellite TV with more than 15 channels, telephone, mini-bar, air conditioning/heating (depending on the season), ceiling fan and safety deposit box (extra).
Travel Information : Airport: Tenerife has two airports, Los Rodeos (north) 30 km away and Reina Sofia (south) 100 km away.
By Car:
From the south:
-Take the motorway towards Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
-Before you reach the islands capital turn off north for 'Puerto de la Cruz'.
-Then take the 1st exit for 'Puerto de la Cruz for Martinez'.
-After a few more metres turn off for 'Jardin Botanico'.
From the North:
-Take the motorway to Puerto de la Cruz .
-Continue as above.
Food & Beverages : In the restaurant El Drago a breakfast buffet with wide collection of products and show-cooking food can be prepared especially for you. The lunch and dinner buffet includes a variety of cold plates, salads and a variety of appetizers as well as hot dishes, vegetables, meats and fish.
There is a Baby Corner for parents where a microwave and refrigerator is provided for baby food.
For those with special dietary requirements, gluten free products are available in association with the Spanish federation of associations of Celiacs. Please let the hotel know prior to arrival.
Breakfast is served from 08:00 to 10:30, lunch 13:30 to 16:00 and dinner from 20:00 to 22:30.
Half Board is available for EUR 15 and All inclusive for EUR 42.
Additional supplement to the rate quoted and to be arranged directly with the hotel, they will take into account any discounts for those that have booked B&B.
Dress Code:
Gentlemen must wear long trousers to the restaurant.
In addition there is the Bar Salon Orotava and the Cafeteria " Teide.
All inclusive board includes:
- Full board with the drinks included (water, refreshments, beers and / or wines)
- Between 08:00 and 00:00 all the alcoholic and not alcoholic drinks on the menu's (depending on the opening hours of the different bars) with the exception of some reservations types, you can to enjoy this by paying a small supplement.
- Between 11:00 and 14:00 Tapas is on offer in either the bar or the pool bar.

Region Information : Puerto de la Cruz, has a friendly feel which makes it is easy to join with the locals or enjoy the beaches in Playa Jardin or Santelmo. There are pleasant corners such as the church plazas, San Francisco and the Lagos.
You can take day trips for example to the islands capital Santa Cruz, crossing over the Anaga's moutains. Or to the Teide national park and Cañadas national park.
A jeep safari is a fantastic way to explore the islands interior. You can also visit the Loro Park, botanic gardens, the Tenerife palace.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

One child from 0 to 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.
