This family hotel run by John and Manuela Desira has been in business for the past 20 years and is noted for the family atmosphere and especially for the standard of house keeping.
The hotel has been totally refurbished in 2007 and all rooms except the 2 basic single are with private bathroom, and offer flat-screen digital TV, along with tea/coffee making facilities.
Melbourne House is just a 5 minute walk from Pimlico and 12 minutes from Victoria Station. The Gatwick Express from Victoria takes just 35 minutes while Heathrow Airport is easily reached by both the airbus and the underground.
Important Information : If you are checking-in after midnight, please inform the hotel of your time of arrival. Please note this is a strictly non-smoking hotel.
If the hotel confirms your reservation and you decide to cancel, there is a 10.00 GBP administration charge. For cancellations less than 120 hours prior to your arrival, one night's charge will apply.
