Museum Hotel is next to the National Archaeological Museum and to the Polytechnic University in the center of Athens. When staying at the Hotel Museum you are within easy reach of all the sights of Athens. The nearest Metro is just a few minutes walk away. Plaka, Acropolis, Monastiraki, Syntagma Square can all be reached on foot or by Metro. After the last renovation on 2004 the hotel is offering facilities of high standards. Museum Hotel dates back to 1958, when it was called the"Whitehouse Hotel".

Best transport links from the airport to our hotel:
From the Athens Airport Bus E95 to Syntagma square/Terminal then Trolley No 3 or 5 or 12 or 15 to Museum station(3rd station) and then 100 metres walk to Hotel Museum. Departures every 20/30 minutes. Duration of the journey:60 minutes. Bus operates for 24 hours, on a daily basis every 1/2 hour.
Metro- the only line 3 to Syntagma then Trolley No 3 or 5 or 12 or 15 to Museum station(3rd station) and then 100 metres walk to Hotel Museum. Departures every 1/2 hour.
Metro- the only line 3 to Omonia station (with a change of metro at Syntagma station-line 2, -for next 2 stations-direction to Aghios Antonios)and then 600 metres walk to Hotel Museum. Metro rail operates on a daily basis from 06:30 to 23:00.
Advice for the ticket system of bus and metro:
*Tickets must be bought before getting on
*Metro: buy them in the ticket office at the station.
*Bus: tickets are available in most newspapers-shops, in the white little shacks and from street venders.
Note that the ticket must be stamped in the machines as you get on the bus and just before you enter the platform area in the metro. Fares are the same for children age 6 and up. Childeren of 5 years or less go for free.

1) Larissa railway station for central Greece and Peloponnese/ suburban railway station for going to the International airport. Distance:1200 metres
2) Omonia Metro Station, distance:600 metres
Driving directions from the airport to our hotel:
From Athens airport the Attiki odos (highway), direction to Mesoghion Avenue, turn to the right on Alexandras Avanue, turn to the left onto Zaimi street, on the 5th street (Stournari) to the right, 1st street (Bouboulinas) again to the right and after 70 metres you are at the Museum Hotel.
