Short description : Tea and scones are offered on arrival at Gorman’s Country Home, set within 5 acres of beautiful gardens. Guests can enjoy home baking, orthopaedic beds, and views of the Kerry Mountains.
Individually decorated and cosily furnished, each room includes an en suite bathroom with hairdryer. Rooms all feature satellite TV and free Wi-Fi, along with free tea and coffee. Some rooms also boast panoramic mountain views.
Full Irish breakfasts are served every day, along with an extensive breakfast menu made from local ingredients. Breakfasts include Dingle smoked salmon on home-baked brown bread, and a range of continental options.
Guests can relax in the house’s award-winning gardens, overlooking Carrauntoohil, the highest mountain in Ireland. Each Thursday, there is a traditional Irish music session for guests.
There are many scenic mountain and hill walks nearby the house and throughout the local Killarney Area. Guided walks can be arranged, walking sticks are provided, and Killarney National Park is a 5-minute walk away.
