Short description : Part of the YHA, this hostel lies on the shores of Giudecca Island, with views of Saint Mark's Square in the distance. It is a 10-minute ride by water bus to Venice Island. The dorms are spacious and bright, and breakfast is a sweet buffet.
Ostello Venezia is set in a 3-storey building of the 19th century. There is a locker for each bed in the dorms, and a safety deposit box is available at reception. The basic restaurant is open for dinner.
The dorms come with cool tiled floors and between 14 and 16 bunk beds. Children under the age of 4 stay for free.
The Ostello is a great starting point for visiting the islands of the lagoon, such as Murano, Burano, and Torcello. Lines 1,2, and 4 of the water bus all stop in Giudecca.
