Short description : The hotel is located in Venice’s Dorsoduro quarter, equidistant from the Zattere and the Grand Canal, and adjacent to the Belle Arti Academy from which the hotel takes its name.
After a day spent exploring the nearby St Mark and Rialto, you can relax in the elegant garden and enjoy peace and quiet in the very heart of the city.
Room Information : The new rooms are equipped with all modern comforts and are decorated in a Venetian style enriched with murano glass chandeliers and baroque décor on the walls.
Region Information : The Dorsoduro area is the ideal place to stay in Venice: just a few steps from San Marco Square and Rialto Bridge, but at the same time in a tranquil area seemingly detached from the noisy crowd of the centre.
Hotel Information : Hotel Belle Arti opened in 1998, and was renovated in 2005.
The helpful staff are available 24 hours a day to suggest restaurants, reserve concerts and excursions and provide other services.
A free boat trip to Murano departs from the hotel daily at 10:00.
Travel Information : By Public Transport:
Should you arrive by train, by bus or by car, catch vaporetto number 1 or number 82 and alight at the Accademia stop. When outside the stop, turn left and immediately right. You will find Hotel Belle Arti along the large street on the right-hand side.
By Plane:
From the airport, take a private taxi boat, which takes 30 minutes to get the Accademia.
By Boat:
There also a public service by boat called Alilaguna, which takes 90 minutes to reach the Zattere.
By Bus:
Take the bus number 5 from the airport to P.le Roma (the bus station in Venice) and then the public waterbus number 1 or 82 along the Canal Grande to the Accademia station or the circular 82 to the Zattere (fastest).
