Short description : Antica Locanda Sturion is located in the city's historic center, 10 minute walking distance from Saint Mark. Overlooking the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge, it is just a few steps from Rialto's picturesque morning market. The decor in every room has been created with the greatest care to recall a classic 18th century Venetian bedroom. In 1494, Vittore Carpaccio in his painting "The Miracle of the Cross", which can be seen at the Academy.

Room Information : The rooms are decorated in 18th century Venetian style, complete with damask upholstery and dressing tables. The rooms all come equipped with private bathrooms with bathtubs and/or showers, air conditioning, direct telephones, satellite TVs, minibars, hairdryers, safes, coffee/tea makers and complimentary cookies.
Travel Information : From "Marco Polo" airport, there is a bus service from the airport to Piazzale Roma (bus terminal) coinciding with flights. Then, from Piazzale Roma, take waterbus #1 to San Silvestro stop (on the same side of the hotel) or #82 (faster) to Rialto" stop (cross the Rialto bridge and follow the bank to the left along the Grand Canal).
From TREVISO airport, there is a bus service from the airport to Piazzale Roma coinciding with flights. Then, from Piazzale Roma, take waterbus #1 to San Silvestro stop (on the same side of the hotel) or #82 (faster) to Rialto" stop (cross the Rialto bridge and follow the bank to the left along the Grand Canal).
