Short description : Designed by the architect Nicolau Nasoni and built in the mid 19th century, the Palácio do Freixo is a remarkable example of Portuguese architecture from the baroque period.
The Pousada has preserved the entire façade of the palace buildings, which became a National Monument in 1910.
This unique hotel has 2 separate but interconnected buildings. The palace houses the elegant restaurant, bar, lounges and meeting rooms.
The former Harmonia Flour Factory hosts Pousada do Porto's comfortable, air-conditioned guest rooms, some of which boast a magnificent view over the river.
