Short description : The Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok, is a 5-star luxury hotel in the central Silom district of the city. The design and appointments express the welcoming warmth and richness of Thai culture throughout the hotel, from traditional teak dining pavilions to the most up-to-date room features.
The hotel has a total of 799 rooms including 52 suites in two wings, Shangri-La and Krungthep, and is adjacent to the Saphan Taksin station of the Skytrain, Bangkok’s elevated metro system.
At the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok, you’ll find many opportunities for fitness, rejuvenation and relaxation. In addition to pools, tennis courts, squash courts. Chi, The Spa at Shangri-La offers some of the largest private spa suites in Bangkok, with a diverse menu of treatments based on traditional Asian principles.
Important Information : Hotel is refurbishing the lower guest room floors of the Shangri-La Wing. The lobby, lounge and reception of the Shangri-La Wing follow from 01 June. These areas are concealed from view until completion by end-September. While intermittent noise may be experienced by guests, these are confined within normal business hours only.
Lobby and reception facilities will be available at the adjacent Ballroom lobby. The hotel meanwhile continues to operate normally with uninterrupted service. The deluxe Krungthep Wing, and newly renovated swimming pool, Salathip and NEXT 2 restaurants by the river, are not affected.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
Baby cots are not available.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged THB 1825.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
