Notice the history of the Monopol which has been owned by the same family for the past 80 years. In the 19th century the Monopol was locally known as the dance and theatre club. The building has some delightful original features such as the hand-crafted verandas overlooking the central patio and the wooden balconies so typical of the Canary Islands.
After soaking up the Tenerife sunshine on the loungers, take a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool. Relax further in the Jacuzzi tub or with a session in the Monopol sauna. Enjoy a good book in the cool and pleasant environment of the central courtyard among the fresh plants and under the glass roof. Challenge friends to table tennis or a game of chess in the garden. In the evening, savour a drink in one of two bars or sit and chat in the Monopol’s communal lounges.
