Important Information : Please note: this is a strictly non-smoking apartment service.
Accommodation offered at several central locations in the old centre: eastern, southern and western canal belt. All locations are at a maximum 10 minutes from the central train station by public transport.
- Payment upon arrival: cash or credit card (Visa, Euro/Mastercard, Amex).
- Payment by credit card: 4 % extra charge
- Upfront invoicing and payment by bank transfer before arrival is possible.
- Please indicate expected time of arrival when making the booking.
- Late arrival policy: EUR 25 after 21:00. EUR 25 extra every single hour after midnight (there is no 24 hour reception desk).
- Deposit: EUR 50/500 deposit per person (depending on booking).
- Rates including services: bed linens, towels.
- Please note: Silence in the house after midnight. Only one homecoming allowed after midnight.
After booking:
Please check your e-mail for a confirmation of Alexander's and check at which of the locations you have been booked. This is also the place where you will be expected to check-in. In this mail you will also find a detailed route description by public or private transport. Communicate your expected time of arrival please with your booking or at least 24 hours before arrival.
Short description : 2-star accommodation in the centre of Amsterdam; private studios, condominiums, flats or multiple room private apartments are available.
All of the housing includes kitchen facilities and free wireless internet access. These are traditional Dutch apartments that are not luxurious but are cosy and convenient. Some luxury private apartments with canal view and a limited number of studios and apartments at ground floor level without flights of stairs are available. All of the apartments are a home away from home and excellent value for money.
There are several central locations in the old centre, eastern, southern and western canal belt, at a maximum 10 minutes distance from the central station by public transport. The apartments are within walking distance of all of the main squares. Short and longer term rentals are possible, bicycles and boats can be rented.
Region Information : Amsterdam is a compact city. All accommodations in the eastern, western and southern canal belt are in the old centre at maximum 10 minutes distance from central station by public transport. The main squares and sights are within walking distance.
Amsterdam is a multi-cultural city and you surely will enjoy Dutch daily life here. there are plenty of shopping possibilities, restaurants, sights and museums.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 4 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: A fixed amount of EUR 50/500 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
5 % city/tourist tax per room per night is not included.
Internet: Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms only and is free of charge.
Meal Plan: This hotel has no meal services.
Parking: Public parking is possible on streets nearby and reservation is not possible costs EUR 19.00 per day .
Pets: Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.
Food & Beverages : Self catered apartments: no breakfast is served. Kitchen included in the accommodation. Supermarkets and daily outdoor markets at walking distance . Plenty of restaurants in the direct vicinity for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Also take-away or delivery services.
Please note that,when booking last minute, it is possible that a studio/apartment with a kitchenette may no longer available (you will have an apartment with just a shower/toilet).

By Public Transport:
- Go to the train station in the airport arrival hall.
- From Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Central Station by train: 15 minutes.
- Then by tramway or bus to the booked accommodation: 10 minutes.
Parking:
Paid parking (09:00 to 00:00) in the street in front of or next to the accommodation: at an additional cost, except Sundays. Free parking in the suburbs.
Child Policy :
Room Information : Private one room studio for 2/3 persons maximum: double bed and fold-away single bed. Private shower, toilet, kitchen.
Surface: 15-25 square meter.
Please notice that,when BOOKING LAST MINUTE, it is possible the apartment with kitchenette is no longer available !! (only accommodation with private shower/ toilet).
Room for 1/2 persons maximum with shared shower,toilet kitchen:
double bed and fold-away single bed. Facilities shared with maximum 3 other rooms. Surface 10-15 square meter.
Two room apartment for 4/5 persons maximum: two rooms each with double bed and a fold away single bed.(or 1 double bed and three single beds). Private shower,toilet, kitchen. surface 35-45 square meter apartment.
Three room private apartment for 6/7 persons maximum: three rooms with 3 double beds and 2 single beds (or 2 double beds and three single beds). Private shower,toilet, kitchen. Surface 45-60 square meter apartment.
Apartments: NO SEPARATE LIVING but enough living space in the accommodation. Two room apartments usually en-suite.
If you need a separate living: a one bedroom apartment can be booked as a two room apartment. For a two bedroom apartment you can choose for a three room apartment. A three bedroom apartment can be booked as two times a two room apartment (two floors in the same house)etcetera. Television and stereo set/ cd player in the room/studio or apartment. Kitchen fully equipped.
