Room Information : Rooms are overlooking the street (lighter) or the courtyard (a bit darker but quiet).
Food & Beverages : The guest kitchen can be used for free by all guests. There are several eateries, restaurants, cafes, bars and supermarkets within 100 meters.
The Datolya restaurant on the other side of the street serves breakfast.
Travel Information : By public transport from all starting points:
- Take the red metro line 2 and get off at Kossuth square.
- Turn right and walk about 15 20 meters.
- At the corner turn right again to Nador street.
- Walk 40 - 50 meters and you will find Origo hostel & guesthouse right next to the Little Irish Coffee Bar.
From Ferihegy airport:
- The easiest way is to take the airport minibus
or
- Get on the repter busz (airport bus) at the terminal and get off at the last stop (Kőbánya Kispest).
- Take the blue metro line (M3) towards Úpest-központ and travel to Deak square.
- Change for the red metro line (M2) and travel 1 stop to Kossuth square
or, if you don’t want to validate another ticket, walk about 10 minutes:
- cross Erzsebet Square and walk toi Vorosparty square. From there, head north to the hostel on Nador street
From Keleti railway station:
- Take the red metro line towards Deli pu. and travel to Kossuth Square (4th stop).

Short description : Located in one of the nicest and safest areas of downtown Budapest, next to the Parliament, several major sights and the Danube, the Origo hostel offers you cosy and clean accommodation.
The Kossuth square metro station is also next to the hotel, so everything is easily accessible. The Origo guest house is situated on the second floor of a nice, historic Pest building, offering double, twin, triple and 4-bedded rooms. Every 2 rooms share a bathroom.
There is a living room connected to a big guest kitchen which is very well equipped with an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge and a washing machine. There is also a nice terrace where smoking is allowed.
The multi-lingual staff is happy to assist you in every respect. Wireless internet access is provided in all rooms and there is a computer with free internet access in the common room. There you also find a satellite TV. Bike rental will be available as of March 2009
A supermarket can be found just 30 metres away and restaurants, bars and clubs and cash machines can be found within a 100-metre radius.
Important Information : Please inform the guest house about your estimated time of arrival during the booking process (comments field) or afterwords.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.
There is no capacity for cots in the room.
