You’ve arrived by water taxi or car, you’ve been to the visitor centre and booked our immersion theatre show called Defiance for tonight, you’ve checked in at reception, you’ve then been taken on our people mover to your room.

... You’ve unpacked and you are now sitting on the veranda with your favourite drink, relaxing and unwinding from the hustle and bustle of the day... just enjoying the panorama.

As well as the activies listed above, if the weather is inclement, we also have communal lounges to while away an afternoon with a book or a board-game with old friends or new aquaintances.
We also have a number of other recreational facilities for you to enjoy.
Why not hire a kayak from a local kayak company and see the harbour and North Head from a different perspective. Then, there’s our beach for a relaxing swim.
If walking is your thing, there are a number of walks you can do in the Manly area including the famous Manly to Spit Bridge Walk and the North Head Santuary Walks... whether it’s an hour’s stroll or a more strenuous walk, there's something to suit most tastes.

Formally known as Quarantine Station, Q Station is located within Sydney Harbour National Park at North Head. Q Station is a five minute drive from Manly or thirty minutes via ferry from the city.

Opening hours: 4pm Tuesday evening through Sunday afternoon, 11.30am to 11pm Tuesday through Friday, 8am to 11pm Saturdays and 8am to 4pm Sundays.
Region Information : Q Station Retreat is nestled on Manly's famous North Head deep in the heart of Sydney Harbour National Park. It's just a 5 minute drive from cosmopolitan Manly on the Northern Beaches.
Manly is just a 30 minute ferry ride from Circular Quay.
A visit to Manly by ferry is a quintessential Sydney experience. Nestled between a tranquil inner-harbour beach on one side and a popular Pacific Ocean surf beach on the other, Manly manages to combine a laid-back attitude with a sophisticated dining scene and stylish boutiques.
The palm-tree lined Corso leads you onto the Steyne promenade, where you can walk, roller-blade or cycle along the oceanfront. There are lots of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and shops.
Travel Information : By car - It takes approximately 30 minutes to drive from the city.
* Drive to Manly and turn right off Sydney Road into Belgrave Street and then turn left at Manly Wharf.
* Take the first left onto Wentworth Street (sign-posted North Head), take the next right ontoDarley Road and go straight over the roundabout continuing on Darley Road.
* Drive past Manly Hospital and through the stone arch "Parkhill" towards North Head Sydney Harbour National Park.
* Pass North Head Former School of Artillery and when you reach the mini-roundabout turn right to enter Q Station
* In-house guests should drive to front gate and press intercom to contact the Hotel Reception. Once gate is opened follow signpost to Reception to check-in.
* If arriving to Q Station for a tour, show or meal, guests should enter Q Station and turn right into the car park and await the regular shuttle bus to enter site.

By water taxi
To visit outside water shuttle times, or to arrive or depart from another point on Sydney Harbour, you can book a water taxi. The water taxi can pick up guests from numerous locations around Sydney Harbour including Darling Harbour, North Sydney, Watsons Bay, Mosman and Balmoral.

By ferry
The Manly Ferry and Jetcat operates regular services to Manly from the CBD.
By bus
Transport between Manly and Q Station on weekends and public holidays can be arranged through contact with our reservations office.
The 135 bus operates a service from Manly Wharf to Q Station and North Head. Call 131500 for a bus timetable.

Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged AUD 80.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: A fixed amount of AUD 100 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.
Internet: Internet via modem is available in public areas and is free of charge.
Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.
Parking: Free public parking is possible on site.
