Welcome to our Cocoon rooms. Intimate internal cabins, each room is encased in American walnut with a king size bed, quality bedding and beautifully fitted en suite bathrooms with large rose head rain showers. We have writing desks, luggage storage space, open plan wardrobes and secure safety deposit boxes in all rooms. Every Cocoon room comes complete with all the technical amenities you could need to enhance and unwind during your free time in the city. All rooms have large flat screen LCD televisions and iPod docking stations in all rooms. Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout all public areas of the hotel.
The price is per room, not per person and use of all the facilities in your room is free and represents great value for a city centre hotel. We do not provide breakfast, but there is an on-site internet café (not managed by the hotel) which provides everything from a bowl of muesli to a full English breakfast. There are tea and coffee making facilities in all rooms and cafes, bars, restaurants and city centre attractions are all within walking distance.

What exactly is a pod 'Cocoon' room?
A pod hotel is a new, compact, modern and stylish concept in city centre accommodation. The focus is on high quality comfort with all the up to date modern facilities required to enable you to unwind and take it easy during your stay. The underlying philosophy is that what we save on space, we make up for in the quality of accommodation and facilities on offer. All our Cocoon Pods are internal cabins and do not have outside windows.
Cocoon rooms have a king size bed, en-suite bathroom with towels and toiletries, large flat screen TV, tea & coffee making facilities, iPod station, full length mirror, work desk, luggage storage and safety deposit box. Hairdryers and ironing facilities are available from reception for a returnable deposit. In keeping with our commitment to our environmental policy we do not service the rooms daily
Region Information : Cocoon in located just off Hardman St around the corner from the Philharmonic and Hope St. Situated in the heart of Liverpool City Centre's bustling cultural quarter, we are perfectly based between both of the City's two famous Cathedrals and have music venues, theatres, restaurants and bars on our door step. Cocoon is within walking distance of all city centre attractions.

Travel Information : From From Lime St Train Station
Leave by the main exit onto Lime Street (opposite St Georges Hall)
Turn left and walk along Lime Street, past the Adelphi Hotel
Continue to the top of the street – use the church as your land mark
At the junction with the church turn left into Hardman St
Continue up, through the traffic lights and South Hunter Street is on the left, the is a pizza shop on the corner of the road
The International Inn is on the right hand side, approx 100 metres along
From National Express Coach Station
Exit the coach station onto Norton Street
Turn left and walk to the traffic lights and then cross onto Seymour Street (continuation of Norton Street)
Seymour Street runs into Russell Street
Continue along the road as it runs into Clarence Street and then Rodney Street
At the junction of Hardman Street (HSBC Bank on the corner) turn left and walk along until the second road on the left which is South Hunter Street.
The International Inn is 20 yards on the right.
By Car
From motorway (M62) take Edge lane (A5047) to its full length.
At the end of Edge Lane, turn left and follow road around, bearing to the right along Irvine Street. At first lights turn left and continue as the road bears right.
Take left at next light and proceed alongside RC Cathedral onto Mount Pleasant, and continue. At traffic lights go straight across on to Hope Street.
At next lights (by the Philharmonic) turn right onto Hardman Street.
First right is South Hunter Street and the hostel is 20 yards down on right.
Pay and Display Parking is available on the street
From Airport
From the Liverpool John Lennon Airport, take the public bus 80A, 86A or night bus 86N to the city centre.
Ask the bus driver to let you off at the Philharmonic on Hardman St. Bus journey time is 30-40 mins.
Walk 2 minutes down the hill of Hardman St until you come to the Flute pub on the corner of South Hunter St
The International Inn is 20 yards along on the right.
The airport express no 500 bus is slightly quicker but where the bus stops is 10-15mins walk away.
From the Ferry Terminal
From the Ferry Terminal at the Pier Head, take the number 224 bus from Canada Boulavard.
This stops at Ranelagh Street, outside of Lewis's department store.
From here you will have to walk along Renshaw Street to the junction of Leece Street (the bombed church is on the corner).
Turn left up the hill onto Leece Street, which runs into Hardman Street.
South Hunter Street is fourth road on the left (the Flute & Firkin is on the corner).
The hostel is 20 yards along on the right

Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.

Deposit Policy: 100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.
