Food & Beverages : In order to preserve the historic qualities of Villa Park, hotel has limited catering facilities. Therefore breakfast can not be included to the service. Bakery however can be found across the road.
Fully equipped kitchens are provided and are more than sufficient for preparing daily meals at home.
Short description : This serviced apartment hotel, built in the 19th Century has been totally renovated but the historic characteristics of Villa Park have been retained. The renovations were conducted with the cooperation of the Inspectorate of Ancient Monuments and Historic Buildings.
Formerly called the Palace behind the Palace, due to the fact that the Norwegian King and Queen are near neighbours, Villa Park is an old townhouse in Oslo that provides a convenient alternative to hotels for tourists, business people and leisure guests.
Situated close to the future home of the Norwegian Prime Minister and opposite the residency of the Swedish Ambassador’s residence, these fully furnished apartments have the highest standards in quality and design.
Towels and bed linen are changed and the rooms are cleaned weekly for those guests staying more than one week.
Villa Park is centrally situated and is close to shopping areas, restaurants, public transport and the wonderful sights of Oslo.
Hotel Information : Villa Park is part of the area of townhouses which was built around the Norwegian Palace in the last part of the 18th Century.
The residence was first owned by Valentin Fürst, a well reputed doctor and friend of Henrik Sørensen, the painter, and Gustav Vigeland, the sculptor (the Vigeland Park). They both have visited Villa Park many times.
Hvidsten Eiendom renovated the building in 1999 in cooperation with the Inspectorate of Ancient Monuments and Historic Buildings.
Room Information : All apartments are equipped with kitchens, bathrooms; most of them with washing machines and dryers, flat screen TVs, bedrooms or other sleeping arrangements such as lofts, and living rooms.
Some apartments have DVD players and each apartment meets the highest standards in quality and design.
Important Information : The reception is open from 9.00 to 17.00 on weekdays.
Saturdays and Sundays the reception is closed.
For to check in after 17:00 please contact the hotel in advance.
No refunds are given in case of not arriving or checking out earlier.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All older children or adults are charged NOK 300.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
