Short description : In May, a new Danhostel opened Copenhagen's city centre offering simple and functional accommodation at some of the cheapest rates and a focus on culture, art and ambience.
This exciting and innovative hostel includes a café that opens out onto the street to take in the cosmopolitan and multicultural atmosphere of the street Vandkunsten. The Danhostel Copenhagen Downtown has a theory that the low prices are crucial to maintaining the diversity of visitors.
Copenhagen Downtown values culture and the arts, so various artists, from all over the world, are regularly invited to events in areas like music, poetry, sculpture, film, design and innovation. This helps to create an informal environment and encourages people to connect and interact with one another.
The tourists and locals fill the bar and this creates a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere. However when guests need time to relax and unwind, Copenhagen offers a wide variety of beautiful beaches, forests and a scenic old harbour nearby.
Important Information : Please note that you need to have a valid YHA membership to stay at youth hostels. If you do not have one you can buy one at the reception upon arrival.
Please also note that guests must bring bedsheets and towels or rent them.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged DKK 75.00 per night and person for cots.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.

City/tourist tax is not applicable.
Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs DKK 20.00 per 30 minutes.
Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is not included and costs DKK 65.00 per person.
Parking: Public parking is possible at a location nearby and charges are applicable.
Pets: Pets are not allowed.
