Hotel Information : One of the biggest Spanish real estate investor groups, Fadesa Hungaria Rt., purchased the unbuilt plots in 2004. The group actually purchased 3 sites which - when linked together - formed a passage connecting Király Street with Paulay Ede Street, thus allowing for creating a pleasant Mediterranean-type building complex.
The building gives home to apartments, a hotel, an event centre, catering and entertainment outlets, shops and parking lots. The hotel itself houses 12 conference rooms, all in all 3000 m² in size and with a maximum capacity of 3000 people.
Apart from the listed services also baby sitting can be provided.
Room Information : The rooms are cleaned daily. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided and a mini bar is available upon request. Food and beverages can be also be provided upon request and at an additional cost.

Region Information : The Passage hotel is situated in the absolute centre of Budapest, at the very heart of city life, only 100 metres from Deák Square, which is an important public transportation hub offering excellent access to all parts of the city. The street, where the hotel is located has been recently renovated, so today it is one of the prettiest and most fashionable districts of the Hungarian capital.
Today's Király Street used to be the main thoroughfare of Terézváros in the 19th century. The street received its name from the inn which once stood at the corner of Deák Ferenc Square and was addressed as "The King of Britain". This area, where the city centre taking shape was still surrounded by small gardens and vineyards, got its name from the empress of the Austrian - Hungarian Monarchy, Maria Theresa (Terézváros).
The building standing on the double site at the corner of Király Street and Károly Boulevard, owned by the Orczy Family gave home to the first independent synagogue of the Hungarian Jews. It is not by chance that Király Street is one of the most beautiful areas within the renovated historical Jewish Quarter. Blocks of flats and trade houses used to stand in the place of the present-day Hotel Passage, the greatest part of which were demolished during World War II.
