Hotel Information : The Clock Tower, built in 1496 on a project by architect Marco Codussi, is one of the main symbols of the square. After many years of restoration finally it returned to mark the hours of Venetian life. The tower also sets the beginning of the Mercerie neighbourhhod. Travel Information : By Air:
Airports near Venice are the Marco Polo in Tessera, 13 km from the heart of Venice, and the San Giuseppe in Treviso (where low-cost airlines land), 30 km from Venice.
From both, take the shuttle to Piazzale Roms and continue on ferry # 2 or water taxi to St. Mark Square. Cross the square to the Clock Tower next to the Basilica where the Best Windows suites are located.
From Venice Marco Polo Airport you can also arrive by water taking a water taxi or Alilaguna line ferry departing from the airport dock (use the internal airport bus to reach the dock).
To get to the Best Windows suites, get off at St. Mark's Square, cross the square to the Clock Tower where you will find the residence next to the Basilica.
By Train:
The Santa Lucia Railway Station is located in the heart of Venice on the Grand Canal. From here, take a water taxi or ferry # 2 to St. Mark Square.
