Region Information : The sleepy village of Solomeo, located between Perugia and Lake Trasimeno, had been almost completely abandoned until a well-known cashmere company bought and restored most of the town to its original charm.

The Locanda offers a warm and intimate atmosphere in its rooms as in the lounges, like the elegant Mazzerolli tea room. The featured ambiance compliments the peace and tranquillity of the village and the cordiality of its inhabitants.
Each elegantly furnished bedroom offers breathtaking views over the countryside scattered with olive groves and vegetation. Romantic sunsets can also be enjoyed from the hotel’s terrace, where you can relax and spend pleasant time with your friends or family.
The restaurant, open also to non-residents, provides tasty samples of typical Umbrian and Italian cuisine. Each dish is prepared with natural ingredients grown in the farm managed by the hotel owners.
Travel Information : To reach the hotel, exit from the E45 motorway at Corciano, and follow directions for Solomeo. The hotel is located in the main square opposite to the curch.
Hotel Information : Pier Luigi Cavicchi and his wife Donatella (who runs the family's nearby farm) inherited a turn-of-the-century villa, located right in the heart of town. Pier Luigi (who had spent many happy summers at the villa) and his wife thoroughly renovated the property and opened it as an inn in 1999.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
