Food & Beverages : HAMON'S is a fine-dining restaurant, located on Park Place, with direct access from the hotel. The menu offers a contemporary approach to British cuisine, with a real focus on fresh, local produce. It is expected that this restaurant will be awarded 2 AA Rosettes. HAMON'S is very popular for both lunch and dinner, so it is highly advisable that you make reservations prior to your arrival to secure your preferred dining time.
To complement the excellent food, there is an extensive wine list from all corners of the world, offering old classics and New World wonders alike. The sommelier (wine steward) will be happy to assist you with a wine choice.
Travel Information : By Car:
From the M4:
- Exit at junction 29.
- Join the A48 to Cardiff.
- Exit after 7 miles onto the A470, signposted city centre.
- At the roundabout, take the second exit.
- After 2 miles, the road forks; bear right.
- Follow the road for another mile.
- At the next major junction, turn left at the lights.
- Almost immediately after this, take the slip lane and turn right into Kingsway.
- At the end of this road, turn left.
- After 100 yards, by the second set of lights, turn right.
- The hotel will be on the left.
On Foot:
From Cardiff Central (10 minutes/0.25 km):
- Turn right onto St Mary Street/High Street.
- Walk 400 yards straight to Cardiff Castle.
- Turn right and walk 250 yards down Queen Street.
- The hotel is on the left opposite Marks & Spencer.
By Air:
From Cardiff International Airport:
- Head towards Culverhouse Cross Roundabout.
- Take the fourth exit and follow signs for City Centre.
