Hotel Information : The residential building was designed by Gaetano Koch, a roman architect of the second half of the 19th-century; the artwork was commissioned by Marquess Francesco Saverio Lavaggi. Gaetano Koch is also the designer of the arcaded buildings surrounding Repubblica Square, the Banca D’Italia building in Nazionale Street, the Ludovisi palace in Veneto Street, nowadays housing the American Embassy, and other countless historical buildings in Rome. The elegant building’s style owes its inspiration to the 11th-century Roman buildings, and today it is under the preservation of the Belle Arti.
