By Car:
- Drive from the Moldau River into Revoluční Street.
- Pass the traffic lights directly straight into Dlouhá Street and follow the road until you reach the large Kotva department store on the right.
- Turn right as if you were driving into the car park, but continue around and follow the street to its end.
- Then turn right into Rybná and immediately left into Jakubská Street.
- At the end of this street, in front of you, you can drive in through the gate into the Tyn courtyard.
By Public Transport:
From the Staroměstská A-underground Old Town station, pass through Kaprova Street.
Cross the old town square and pass through the narrow street near the Tyn Church into the Tyn courtyard.
From the Náměstí Republiky B-underground station or tram station in Republic Square, pass around the Kotva department store into its 2nd entrance on the opposite site.
Then continue into Jakubská Street.
At the end of this street, you will enter the old gate into Tyn Court.
Food & Beverages : Everybody can find a little corner for themselves on the ground floor in the small and cosy cafe. The summer terrace is available from April to the end of October, offering a view of the Týn church spires and providing an enjoyable business lunch, a cup of coffee or a glass of vintage wine. You can enjoy the culinary experience by choosing meals of both Bohemian and even international cuisine, enhanced by quality Bohemian or foreign wines.
Short description : This luxurious historic hotel dates from the 14th century and is conveniently located directly in the heart of the Old Town of Prague, mere minutes from the old town square.
Completely reconstructed in 2008, the house was formerly known as “at seven candlesticks” and “at the red deer”, and the entire courtyard is protected by the world UNESCO cultural heritage list. These two names reflect the fact that during the late Middle Ages two separate houses stood here, the first being during the Baroque period. Both residences were joined together to create the current property. The whole house is interwoven with Renaissance arcades and portals, featuring an ancient and traditional atmosphere. The most luxurious suites are decorated with hand-painted historical beams dating back to the 17th century.
Region Information : The hotel is located in the Ungelt Square listed in UNESCO, 50 metres from Tyn Cathedral, 100 metres from the Jewish quarter and the Old Town Square with the astronomical clock, 250 metres from Wenceslas Square, the Municipal House and the Powder Gate and 1.2 km from Charles Bridge.
Room Information : The strictly non-smoking rooms include a range of modern amenities and functional furniture including Metamorphis furniture inspired by the Spanish-Italian secession period, historical hand-painted ceilings or wooden beams, jacuzzi and massage showers in the suites and apartments, the possibility of a third person on a standard bed in junior suites or double rooms and free Wi-Fi or LAN internet access.
