Short description : This pleasant and private cosmopolitan hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the old quarter of the storehouse town of Gdansk, just 1.3 km from the main train station.
All the famous and well-known historic sites, ancient architecture and old churches, as well as the pedestrian area, are within easy reach of this designer hotel. The Baltic resort of Sopot is a short journey away with its seafront promenade and shopping facilities, along with the port of Gdynia and its cultural attractions.
The hotel houses several individually designed rooms, each dedicated to its own theme such as famous historical figures and celebrities. In the basement, there is a spacious breakfast room, a stylish patio and a coffee bar. Start your day in the best way with the breakfast buffet and relax in the tranquil garden, after a day exploring this wonderful area and its fascinating towns.
Room Information : The 8 suites, with their spacious room layouts and their individual design, always offer a pleasant stay. Each room features its own theme, for example one is dedicated to Marilyn Monroe and another to Albert Einstein; it is topped off with illustrations of the German artist Nina Soentgerath.
Region Information : Many historic sites such as the historic old town of Gdansk, the Golden Gate or the Green Gate are within walking distance. Through the medieval entrance you will reach St Mary, the largest brick church in the world. Also worth seeing are the Neptune Fountain, the gorgeous historic private townhouses located along the Long Market, as well as St Nicholas' Church, the oldest church in Gdansk.
For souvenirs or a shopping expedition, the shops at the Grand Mill or the Arsenal are recommended. The sophisticated Baltic resort of Sopot, located in Gdansk Bay, is easily reachable by train within half an hour. Should the weather not be appropriate for bathing, you can take a stroll on the esplanade which offers a special shopping experience.
The seaport of Gdynia which, together with Gdansk and Sopot, forms the economic region of Tricity, is situated only half an hour from Gdansk and offers an active cultural life; for example the Polish Film Festival takes place here once a year. Apart from these 3 cities, there are the many charming beaches, the beautiful sand dunes and the small seaside villages on the Hel Peninsula.
