Short description : In the commercial centre of the city, between the Salvador and the San Francisco square, by the Cathedral and Sierpes street, the hotel Las Casas de los Mercaderes gets its name from the street where it is located, which bore that name centuries ago. This district of the city has always been the weak spot of its commerce. Here dwelled the German bankers, the Flemish and French traders and the Genoese dealers. Even today, most of the names of the neighboring streets remind us of this fact. The hotel Las Casas de los Mercaderes has won back an 18th century courtyard and its commercial restoration of the 19th century. Its forty seven rooms, completely equipped, its meeting room, coffee bar, solarium, garage, etc., along with its strategic location make this hotel an ideal place for business as well as tourism.
