Food & Beverages : At Casa de la Pizarra Restaurant, you will enjoy a wide variety of international products and regional dishes prepared with Guijuelo ham or veal sirloin. We offer a superb buffet breakfast, the NH breakfast, prepared with the best products and with choices of hot dishes or a la carte menu. The restaurant is opened from 07:30 hrs to 11:30 from Monday to Fridays and from 08:00 to 12:00 hrs on Saturdays and Sundays. As well as our lunches and dinners with a la carte menu, we can also cater for special meetings, in any of our three private rooms. Reservations must be made in advance.
Region Information : One of the advantages of our location is that we are near the monumental and university city. You can’t leave without visiting the Universidad Antigua, the Universidad Pontificia, the new cathedral and the old one (opposite to each other) and the main square (Plaza Mayor).

Room Information : All 37 rooms are equipped with amenities that will make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks to its location, our guests will enjoy beautiful views of the cathedrals and the River Tormes. We offer “Women Style” rooms, especially designed for our female guests, equipped with magnifying mirror, Telva magazine and a toilet bag with everything that a woman may need (bath mitt, nail file, bath cap). Our hotel offers a selection of pillows upon request (cervical duvelt, latex) coffee for early bird, before the buffet is opened for early checkouts.
Short description : The NH Puerta de la catedral is situated directly opposite the older of Salamanca's two cathedrals. Matacán Airport is no longer in operation. The nearest airport is Villanubla in Valladolid, 120 km away or Barajas in Madrid, approximately 210 km away.
From the hotel to the city centre:
This hotel is situated in the heart of the city. Pass the Plaza Mayor and carry on by Rua Mayor and the hotel is situated approximately 200 metres away from there.
The best way to come from the train station is by taxi (5 to 50 minutes’journey) or from the bus station (5 mins away by taxi),
