Short description : Ideally situated on the cliff tops at Southbourne in Bournemouth, adjacent to the cliff lifts and Fisherman’s Walk, with spectacular views across Poole Bay that take in Swanage and Hengistbury.
The Commodore Hotel offers an excellent base from where you can explore all that the south coast of England has to offer. Its location, close to the New Forest, makes it an ideal base from which to tour Hampshire and Dorset. Also within reach is the Isle of Wight to the east of Bournemouth.
During your stay you can dine in the attractive lounge bar with panoramic sea views where good food is available daily. If you wish to simply relax then you can enjoy a drink from the superb range of real ales, wines and spirits. The hotel is also family-friendly as children are welcome in the family eating area. The hotel also has a small conference room.
Travel Information : By Car (from the A338):
- Leave the A338 at the airport/Christchurch exit and follow the signs to Christchurch.
- After the humpback railway bridge take the 1st right and keep on this road.
- At the 2nd roundabout go straight ahead towards Southbourne beaches.
- Take the 5th turn to the left and the sea will be in front of you.
- Turn right onto the coast road; we are approximately 2 km along this road.
Room Information : All of the rooms are comfortably furnished, most have a sea view and are double glazed. All bedrooms are centrally heated and are equipped with standard facilites.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
