Short description : Established in 1924, The Edinburgh Thistle Hotel is located in the prestigious, quiet and residential West End area of the city centre. Close by is Edinburgh Castle, St. Mary’s Cathedral, the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) and of course the renowned Princes Street with its vast array of stylish shops and stores. Having been a Georgian Town House and retaining most of its original period features, our hotel comprises 10 comfortable, elegant and spacious En-Suite rooms.

Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged GBP 30.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged GBP 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

Live Jazz music can be heard on Saturday nights and during other Special Events, along with traditional Scottish and Gaelic music, throughout the course of the year.
Food & Beverages : Fully licensed, the Manor Lounge Bar is tastefully decorated to give a traditional Scottish ambience.
Informal and lively, we host live 'Swing Jazz' music every Saturday night.
