Region Information : Port d'Alcúdia, in the north-east of Mallorca, is one of the main tourist towns in the island. It has got a waste choice of hotels and apartments that can lodge thousands of visitors. It is sited just at the north of the long -8,5 km.- beach in Alcúdia's Bay, one of its main attractive spots. From the beach southwards, there are some canals and ponds surrounded by hotels, apartments and villas -many of them used summer residences-, included in the humid area called Albufera Gran de Mallorca, now being Albufera Natural Park: a broad area preserved in its natural condition.
In Port d'Alcúdia not only an excelent accommodation choice can be found, but also a wide range of shops, restaurants, a water park bars and discos which provide a lively nightlife all summer, every day of the week.
