Short description : This friendly hostel is situated in the centre of Puerto de Alcudia, just a 5 minute walk to the sandy beach and a 2 minute walk to the picturesque harbour.
All of the rooms are en suite are well equipped with modern facilities including air conditioning/heating, a safe and TV. Free internet and Wi-Fi internet access is available to guests. There is also a common room with fireplace, a lift, a big kitchen for self catering and a comfy bar.
The hostel can organise car/cycle/motorbike rentals and much more. 50 meters away there is a large and free public car park. A small, friendly, multilingual team are looking forward to taking care of you!
Hotel Information : Hostal Calma is a great place to meet other travellers and there is a large bar and a common room in which guests can relax and socialise. There is also a large kitchen available for guests’ use, for those who like to cook for themselves or for others.
The German couple who run the hostel and the friendly, professional staff try their utmost to offer the best service possible and to keep all of their guests happy and satisfied. With only 30 rooms, you can be sure of individualised, personalised care and attention, with plenty of good tips and great advice on how to enjoy your holiday.
Food & Beverages : The comfi hostel bar is open at the same hours as reception. The hotel does not have its own restaurant however there are many cafeterias and restaurants close by. Breakfast is provided and you can cook yourself in the big kitchen or have a barbecue on the roof top.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 5.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.

Room Information : The spacious rooms have everything you need: full bathroom, TV, air con warm/cold, safe. Some rooms have a balcony. Cleanliness is written in BIG letters.
Region Information : The beach at Puerto Alcudia bay is one of the longest and finest on the island and Hostal Calma is only 300 m away from it! Puerto Alcudia itself has a beautiful pedestrian zone with lots of bars, restaurants and shops, and all over a picturesque yacht harbour. Close by is the old town of Alcudia with its traditionel market twice a week. Here you can visit the old roman remains.
Puerto Alcudia is a great place for sportive activities: you can rent sailing boats and surf boards, go diving, horse riding or you can visit the newly opened gym with a swimming pool. Around Puerto Alcudia are fantastic beautiful spots to go hiking. And with a bicyclette you are very quick in the mountains or, if you want to take it easy, you go in the other direction, where it is flat and therefore less exhausting e.g. to the Albufera National Park.
Travel Information : By Car from Palma:
- Follow the signs towards Andratx, then to Puerto Alcudia.
- After about 45 minutes you should reach a roundabout with an orange-coloured horse in its middle.
- Go straight over the roundabout, then after about 200 metres you will reach another roundabout.
- Here turn right and you will be on Teodoro Canet, where the hostel is located (after the large car park on the right-hand side).
PS. If you can see the yacht harbour you have gone a bit too far.
Important Information : The hotel is open all year round, but the opening hours for reception vary during the year.
From May to mid-October, reception is open everyday, from 07:00 to 00:00.
From mid-October to 31 October, reception is open from 08:00 to 13:00 and from 18:00 to 22:00.
From 1 November 2007 to 31 January 2008, the hotel is closed for extensive renovation work to improve facilities for the comfort of its guests.
From 1 February to the end of April, reception is open everyday from 08:00 to 13:00 and from 18:00 to 22:00, except for Tuesday evenings, when reception is closed.
If you arrive outside of these opening hours, please call the telephone number included on your confirmation email and someone will arrive in less than 10 minutes in order to let you in.
