Hotel Information : This building is one of the original Four Old Mansions of Fira town, the capital of this island. The bedrooms and living rooms were famous for their crossed domes which featured hand painted works of art from 1852. The combination of art and architecture attracted visitors from all over Europe.
Sadly, after a tragic earthquake in 1956, the building was severely damaged and the paintings were lost. The beautiful crossed domes, however, have been respectfully restored to their former splendour and stand to tell of the historic charm of our house.
