Food & Beverages : Choice and quality - everyone should be able to find something to their liking on our Table d'hote menu. If not please ask! Special diets catered for.
Travel Information : By car:
- Exit the M55 at junction 4, taking the 3rd turning at the roundabout (A585 North Shore).
- Continue through 2 sets of lights (last one has KFC/McDonalds/Pizza Hut on left).
- At the next lights turn right (signed Zoo, Hospital and Illuminations Traffic).
- Continue for 1.5 miles past the hospital and at next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the dual carriageway.
- Continue for about one mile (over 2 roundabouts), through traffic lights and over a railway bridge.
- At the next lights turn left (Warbreck Hill Road) and continue for 3/4 mile (over a roundabout) until you reach promenade at Gynn Square (roundabout with illuminations lightening tree).
- Turn right onto promenade and Empress Drive is the 3rd turning on right. The Palms is 50 yards on left.
Train / Bus / Air:
- A taxi from the station / Talbot Road bus station is about 5 GBP, from the airport about 10 GBP. Call for assistance and we would be delighted to arrange your ride with our local firm.
Short description : The Palms Hotel and Apartments is situated just off one of the prime areas of Blackpool's Queens' Parade. With a flexible combination of hotel and self catering accommodation, there is always a warm welcome at The Palms.
Palms is only a one minute walk from the Promenade and tram stops, the North Pier, town centre and all the major attractions. Whether you choose a self catering apartment or a hotel bedroom, you can be assured of the highest level of personal service and comfort. Hotel accommodation is offered on B&B or half board basis. In the morning, start the day with a full English breakfast. In the evening, select your choice from our table d'hote menu. Our apartments are well appointed to cater for 2 to 5 people, including a well equipped kitchen. All have a TV and video.
Important Information : In accordance with the new legislation, the hotel will become non-smoking on 1st July. Until then, we will continue with our segregated smoking area policy.
For large groups, we reserve the right to request a security bond.
There is a minimum 2 night stay during all peak weekends.
Hotel Information : Catering primarily for couples and family groups, rosemary and chris extend a warm welcome to all their guests. The palms is situated far enough away from the noise and bustle of the central area to ensure a good night's sleep, but close enough for a stroll into town or a short tram ride to all the major attractions. The beach is just 75 metres away while north shore golf club is only half a mile distant.
Your rooms will be comfortable, warm and clean. All are en suite and double glazed. Our hearty full English breakfast has attracted numerous compliments and has proved a big winner in bringing visitors back to us again and again. Enjoy a drink in our welcoming licensed bar. Evening meals are available on request and are home cooked, delicious and taken from our table d'Hote menu, which offers real choice for every course. Children's options are available.
Whether you are with us for a main holiday, a short break, a theatre break or a special occasion, your every comfort is our highest priority and we pride ourselves on our service and on giving great value for money. we are unable to accept stag and hen parties without direct contact and there is a minimum 2 night stay on all peak weekends.
Room Information : All our rooms are en suite, double glazed and centrally heated with individual heat control for your added comfort. Tea/coffee making facilities are provided in every room with lovely Bronte biscuits if you get the munchies. There is a radio/alarm and CTV in all rooms. Family rooms benefit from a video player to keep the kids happy while they wait for Mum to make herself even more gorgeous.
Ironing and drying facilities are available on request.
We have 2 ground floor rooms that are suitable for the partially disabled and some rooms are suitable for a travel cot (available on request for a small fee) for newer arrivals.
Region Information : Palms is close enough to be convenient, yet far enough away to offer a little peace.
We are situate just 50 metres from the Queen's Promenade in the very popular North Shore area of Blackpool. Trams and buses are just a minutes walk away or, if you are ready to take in the air - The North Pier, Tower and Town Center (with its shows and the Winter Gardens) are about a mile stroll away. If speed and comfort are the order of the day, the centre is about a 5 GBP taxi ride. Trams and buses run frequently and The Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Water World are a 20 minute tram ride away.
The golden Blackpool sands are just a 5 minute walk, or for the golfers, North Shore Golf Course is only half a mile away. For the enthusiast, Lytham St Annes and the famous Open Course are only a 20 minute drive away.
