The picturesque fishing village of Benitses lays 13, 5 kilometres south of Corfu Town and has a population of about 800 inhabitants. Since a few years, the village has become a high touristy resort; despite that fact, the streets of the old village have kept their authentic colours and atmosphere.
In Benitses, one will find some taverns, cafes, bars, accommodation, a sandy beach and many other beaches which are situated in the surrounding area.
