Agios Georgios is the closest beach to the capital of Naxos Greece and one of the most popular beaches of the island. It is a very long golden sandy beach extending for many kilometres and proposing umbrellas, sun beds and sea sports facilities. This beach is one of the most famous spot for windsurfing and has two clubs renting windsurf material. Cafes, taverns, lively bars and numerous accommodations are filling the surrounding area.
