Short description : Part of a complex that includes a casino and the Congress Centre of Madeira, the hotel is just a few minutes walk from the centre of Funchal.
The concept of the project was conceived by the world-famous architect Professor Oscar Niemeyer, known also for his project in the city Brasília. The hotel is considered a masterpiece and a perfect example of modern architecture. The manipulation of the space and natural light are some of the characteristics that distinguish this magnificent sample of modern art.
Important Information : There are supplements for Compulsory Gala Dinners, as follows:
24 December 2007: EUR 65 per person. This rate includes half a bottle of house wine and coffee during the meal.
31 December 2007: EUR 160 per person. This rate includes half a bottle of house wine, half a bottle of sparkling wine and coffee during the meal.
05 February 2008: EUR 65 per person. This rate includes half a bottle of house wine and coffee during the meal.
Children from 5 to 13 years receive a 50% reduction on the above mentioned Gala meals supplements. If the child is under 5, the gala dinner supplement will not be charged.
