Hotel Information : The hotel building dates from 1903. 24 rooms were fully refurbished in early 2005. A seminar lounge and bar were added to the hotel complex in 2005.
Room Information : There are 53 brand new design rooms, and all rooms have a flat screen LCD TV.
16 rooms enjoy stunning sea views, and 2 disabled rooms are available. Non-smoking rooms are available on request.
Soundproofed rooms overlook the old harbour and are fully equipped with a bathroom with hydro-massage bath, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi (fee applies), soft furnishings from the Pierre Frey collection, and products by Anne Semonin.

Travel Information : Arrival by plane:
From Marignane Provence Airport take the shuttle coach to the St. Charles railway station. Departures every 20 minutes. Follow directions below.
Arrival by train:
Take the number 1 metro line from St. Charles station towards la Timone. Alight at Vieux Port (the 2nd stop). The hotel is just outside the metro station.
Arrival by road:
- When you approach Marseille follow the sea road signs towards Vieux Port.
- The Tonic Hotel is on the left-hand side, facing Notre Dame de la Garde.
There are 2 public car parks about 50 metres from the hotel.
Region Information : Jardin des Vestiges (0.4 km) - many Greek and Roman relics were uncovered here in 1967.
Musee Des Dock Romains (0.6 km) - here you can learn about the history of the city's Roman docks.
Arab quarter (0.7 km) - wander past stores selling spices and fresh almonds in the rue d'Aubagne, then stroll down the rue des Dominicaines, where you will find tiny stores jam-packed with everything from fax machines to wedding dresses.
