Short description : The Shelter is a cozy and elegant house located in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. The family-owned property features a green garden, a furnished sun terrace and scenic views over the Atlantic Ocean.
The house has a living room with a fireplace, cable TV, CD player and an iPod Docking Station. There is also an equipped kitchen, a private bathroom with a bath and free toiletries. A terrace and a patio are also featured, along with a scenic view over the Ocean.
The Shelter features an equipped kitchen area, which guests may use in order to prepare their meals. Outdoor barbecue facilities are also available. Several restaurants are accessible within a 5-minute drive of the property, most serving traditional Portuguese meals, including typical fish dishes.
The garden area features a hammock, where guests can take a relaxing break while taking in the scenic surrounding views. The well-kept vegetable garden can be harvested by guests, providing further ingredients for their meals.
The centre of Cascais is a 13-minute drive from the property. Guincho Beach is a 5-minute drive away and is one of Portugal’s most famous surfing spots. The Lisbon city centre is a 23-minute drive from the Shelter. Sintra is an 18-minute drive and features several national landmarks, such as the Pena Palace and the Capuchos Convent. Estoril is a 15-minute drive away and features extensive beaches and the well-known Estoril Casino.
The Cascais Train Station is a 13-minute drive from the unit. The nearest bus stop is a 10-minute walk. The Shelter is a 30-minute drive from the Lisbon International Airport.
